Project Context
To strengthen 29CM’s position in the women’s athleisure category, we launched the Beautiful Moves campaign. The aim was to challenge conventional beauty standards often portrayed in mass media and instead deliver authentic stories that empower women and enhance 29CM’s brand narrative.
Strategy & Direction
The campaign centered on authenticity, highlighting women who have surpassed unseen social and cultural barriers. By rejecting unrealistic ideals and focusing on honest, relatable stories, the campaign sought to inspire self-confidence, solidarity, and a healthier connection to sportswear.
Planning Intent & Execution
Developed the campaign concept and narrative under the title Beautiful Moves.
Curated and featured diverse female voices, emphasizing sincerity over superficial beauty.
Positioned athleisure not just as apparel but as a tool for empowerment and personal expression.
Produced multi-format content (visual storytelling, interviews, editorial features) to maximize reach and resonance.
Role
As a Director, I led the campaign’s creative strategy, narrative design, and execution, ensuring that the message aligned with 29CM’s brand values while resonating with both consumers and brand partners.
Results
Achieved significant audience engagement through high viewership and positive sentiment.
Enhanced 29CM’s brand image as an inclusive, forward-thinking platform.
Directly contributed to the onboarding of premium athleisure brands (e.g., On Running, Lululemon) that typically do not partner with open-market platforms. Demonstrated the power of authentic storytelling in driving both cultural impact and commercial growth.
